SAP Web Dispatcher
SAP Web Dispatcher can be installed using the SAPinst tool or by using the manual extrac-
tion and bootstrap process. In this chapter, the manual process is explained so that the reader
has a detailed understanding of the process. A similar process is executed when the SAPinst
tool is used to install and configure the SAP Web Dispatcher. This process can be broken
down into the following four steps:
• SAP Web Dispatcher installation
• SAP Web Dispatcher bootstrapping
• SAP Web Dispatcher start and shutdown procedures
