coffee house, the beautiful “Writers' Bookshop” has a wide range of Hungarian fiction in
translation in the gallery upstairs, and a good selection of photography, art and architecture
books and Hungarian DVDs in the main part of the shop. You can drink coffee and read at
the tables in the front or in the gallery. Mon-Fri 10am-7pm, Sat 11am-7pm (July & Aug Sat
11am-3pm).

shop/café where you can relax over your favoured tome. The café, which has eco-friendly
coffee and tea and good brownies, opens out onto a courtyard garden at the back. Strong on
- but not restricted to - foreign-language literature and Jewish studies. Hosts exhibitions and
readings. Mon-Sat 10am-8pm, Sun noon-8pm.

road from Arany János utca metro station. There is another map shop at no. 37 up the road,
