Montmartre Windmills
Further along rue Lepic are Montmartre's twin windmills: the Moulin de la Galette
(immortalised in an 1876 painting by Renoir) and the Moulin Radet (now a restaur-
ant).
Cimetière St-Vincent
This cemetery on rue St-Vincent is the final resting place of Maurice Utrillo
(1883-1955), the 'painter of Montmartre'. Just east is the notorious cabaret Au
Lapin Agile , named after a mural by caricaturist André Gill, which still features on
the west wall.
Clos Montmartre
South along rue des Saules is Clos Montmartre, a tiny vineyard that produces
around 800 bottles of wine a year, which are auctioned for charity in October.
Musée de Montmartre
This museum, at 12-14 rue Cortot, is housed in Montmartre's oldest building, a
17th-century house once occupied by Renoir, Utrillo and Raoul Dufy.

Basilique du Sacré Cœur
This iconic Montmartre landmark is situated on place du Parvis du Sacré Cœur. In-
side, 234 steps spiral up to the dome and one of Paris' most spectacular panora-
