Adding Structure
By the time you finish the work in this chapter, you'll have a substantial portion of your 3D printer
completed. This will provide a good look at what the final structure will look like (minus motors and a
few last remaining plywood pieces).
We hope that you're starting to gain a better understanding of how to modify the existing plywood
pieces by drilling out existing holes to allow for a better assembly. The machine itself is very forgiving
when it comes to lining up parts and squaring up rails, but you don't want to see any major errors when
it comes to bolting the pieces together. This is a build-it-yourself machine, and as such we're relying on
you to examine your machine and make the necessary fixes (if any are required) to get the machine
assembled properly.
