Place the Strong-Tie bracket into position over the four holes you drilled, as shown in Figure 10-4.

On the other side of Part K, insert the spacers into the holes over the bolts. Follow this up with the
washers (if required) and the #6 nuts and then finger tighten them for now. Figure 10-5 shows all four #6
bolts secured. Take note that the Strong-Tie bracket will extend 1/2” past the top of Part K (to the right in
Figure 10-4) and will be flush at the bottom (to the left in Figure 10-4).
