Getting There and Around
Flying into Montana or Wyoming is easier than you think, and it's by far the best way to
get here. Flights into the larger airports are becoming increasingly frequent as the region
gains ground as an incredible destination for visitors. Although getting here by train or bus
is possible, it's not as convenient, and stops can be far from the main travel areas—best left
to hardy travelers or those on an extreme budget. If you live in the West, driving to Montana
or Wyoming is a great way to get here—major highways will get you into the state, and
well-traveled back roads will lead you to your final destination.
By far the best way to get around these large states once you're here is by car. Rental cars
are available at the major airports, and you'll see more of each state while driving around.
