Lewistown is beginning to establish a reputation for fine dining, and among its gems is The
Mint Bar & Grill (113 4th Ave. S., 406/535-9925, 5pm-9pm Mon.-Sat., $10-20), housed
in a 1940s car dealership. The chefs specialize in savory sauces to accompany succulent
steaks, ribs, seafood, and pasta. Like the best Montana restaurants, they use fresh local in-
gredients and pair hearty meals with an impressive wine list.
Another fantastic newer entry onto the culinary scene is the Calvert Hotel's Onyx Bar

Getting There

Airlines (800/554-5111, www.greatlakesav.com ) , which offers flights to and from Denver
