5.
Conclusions
ETGs embedded in DM halos have been modeled as two-component systems, where
the stellar VPE is the sum of the self potential energy of the stellar subsystem, and the tidal
potential energy of the DM halo. In general, the VPE can be represented as an hypersurface,
