In-Depth Information
•
Central Glow
is the
soft glow of the flare, colored
by the light's base color.
•
Glow Behind Objects
sets the glow of the flare
behind
any object that comes
between
the light and the
camera. Using this setting,
you can simulate atmo-
spheric glows at some
distance from the camera.
(Without this checked, the
flare is rendered on top of
everything in the scene,
regardless of its relative Z
position from the camera
.)
•
Central Ring
and
Red
Outer Glow
are the two
things that just scream, “Hi!
I'm a LightWave lens flare!”
They make a ring around the
flare and tint the flare with a
ruddy hue. (
Ring Color
and
Ring Size
control the hue
and size of the Central Ring,
respectively.)
