Eating & Drinking
The majority of restaurants are located along Av Malecón, while cheaper eats can be
found in converted wooden kiosks along the waterfront and along Av Francisco Rosario
Sánchez. The most colorful nightlife is along Av Malecón near Calle María Trinidad
Sánchez, where locals gather in the evening at a line of makeshift bars pumping reggaeton
and
merengue
. Nicer spots nearby for cocktails include
