Tours
Every resort has a separate tour desk that can arrange all manner of trips, from snorkeling
and deep-sea fishing to the popular Isla Soana trip. A handful of locals set up on El Corte-
cito beach offer one-hour snorkel trips (per person US$25) and two-hour glass-bottom boat rides
(per person US$35) to a nearby reef and parasailing (15min US$85) . Most also offer deep-sea fish-
ing trips (minimum 4 people, 4 hours, per person US$75) for marlin, tuna, wahoo and barracuda.
There are a few pushy kiosks near the north end of the beach, although the odds are that
you'll be approached by touts as soon as you set foot in town and on the beach. The most
popular day tour by far is the day trip to Isla Saona ( Click here ) .
