first in the plots studied in Ghana. Lophira lanceolata ranks thirty-third in
Ghana, but fourteenth in Guinea. Vitelleria paradoxa ranks fourth in Ghana
whereas it is twenty-fifth in Guinea. Piliostigma sp. is twenty-fourth in
Guinea, but thirty-fourth in Ghana. However, Parkia clappertoniana ,
Gardenia tenuifolia , and A. senegalensis rank similarly in both countries.
