This green blotch of tropical rainforest in Bolivia is animated by tributaries weaving
drunkenly: Rio Tahuamano, this page, and Rio Beni. Over time they've both tried to
straighten out, by cutting through the banks on either side until the land erodes and
the most elaborate curlicues are snipped off into oxbow lakes.
