Puffin supports Flash video right out of the box without having to install the Adobe Flash
app.
The browser also features a unique virtual trackpad which simulates a mouse and makes it
easier to use some websites, especially those with drop down lists. The virtual trackpad is
easily switched on and off by tapping a mouse icon at the lower left corner of the screen.
There is also a virtual gamepad, accessed with an icon at the lower right corner of the
screen.
Another great feature of Puffin is direct access to the Android virtual keyboard by tapping
an icon at the lower right. Normally, the virtual keyboard appears automatically when you
tap a text box or other screen element where text input is needed or allowed. But there are
some websites where the keyboard doesn't appear when it should.
You can toggle the virtual keyboard between full screen, split, and compact formats. All
three keyboards have forward and back icons, and copy, cut, and paste icons. To copy text
from a web page or use it in a search, tap and hold anywhere on the screen to create a high-
lighted block. Drag the markers at the beginning and end of the selected text to select the
desired text, then tap Copy or Search.

Opera
Probably best known for having pioneered the Speed Dial feature which lets you save your
favorite websites as quick links, Opera also has a Discover page which lets you browse
stories from major newspapers and magazines.
To access Speed Dial, open a new tab by tapping the tabs icon at the right side of the search
bar, then tap New Tab. Swipe right to view your browsing history and left to see the Dis-
cover page. While on the History and Discover pages, swipe vertically to view more.
To add a website to the Speed Dial page, tap the + icon at the left side of the address bar.
To open a new tab, tap the Tabs icon right of the search bar, and then tap the New Tab icon
to open a regular tab, or the menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen to open a
private tab. You can also close all tabs from the menu.
