Getting Directions

Just type or speak the name or address of your destination. For example. “get directions to
Sky Harbor Airport Phoenix Arizona” results in a map of the route and a list of directions.
Just tap the “Start” icon to start navigating toward your destination. The device switches to
a 3D map view and starts giving voice and on-screen turn by turn directions.

Google Search is incredibly flexible and can be used to search for information on nearly
anything, just like Google on a computer. Here are some examples:

• What is the current weather at JFK airport?

• What time does British Airways depart London for Los Angeles?

• What time is it in Fairbanks, Alaska?

• When is moon rise?

• Where's the nearest supermarket?

• What is 3.5 times 4.6?

• Convert 100 US dollars to Canadian dollars

If the result is a single answer and you've used voice search, your phone or tablet will speak
the answer. If there are several results, you get a list to choose from.
