If Google Voice understands your request, it will perform the action. Otherwise, it will
show a list of Google search results for you to choose from.
Google Now
Swipe up from the Home icon to display the Google Now screen. Google Now works with
your Google account, non-Google apps that are connected to your Google account, and loc-
ation information to provide you with timely information related to your current activities.
This information is presented in the form of cards. For example, it learns your home and
work locations as well as your commute route, and shows you traffic and commute times.
It shows you the weather at home and your destination. You can customize Google Now
by tapping the Menu icon at the left side of the Google Now search bar, but Google Now is
really designed to customize itself based on your activities. The one setting you might want
to change is Tablet Search. By default, Google Now searches Google apps such as email
and calendar, but you might add apps such as Wikipedia, EverNote, and other reference
and search apps (see

If any Google Now card is irrelevant, or you don't want to see it, just swipe it sideways to
remove it.
A Google Search bar at the top of the Google Now screen lets you search Google by typing
in a phrase or by speaking, just like the Google Search widget on the Home screens.
