Launchers
The user interface on Android is run by the default Launcher, which controls how you can
place apps and widgets, how many Home screens you can have, and how the Favorites tray
and Apps Drawer works. You can install many different launchers from the Play Store (ht-
tp://bit.ly/1958Nln) to change the function and appearance of the user interface.
Nova Launcher
Nova Launcher ( http://bit.ly/1aJ7A9G ) adds many features to the stock launcher, including
more ability to customize your Home screen, Favorites tray and Apps Drawer. With Nova
Launcher, you can have as many Home screens as you want, accessed by swiping left and
right. You can also have up to three Favorites Trays, accessed by swiping the Favorites
Trays left and right.
You can choose icon and color themes, set scroll effects, set infinite scroll so you can loop
through all Home screens, change the style and background of folder icons, add multiple
icons, hide apps, and change the size of the Home screen and Favorites Tray grids.
Nova Launcher Prime, the paid version of the app, unlocks even more features, including
folders in the Favorites trays, add unread counts to email and text messaging icons, more
scroll effects, and more. For the full list of features, go to Nova Launcher Prime in Google
Play ( http://bit.ly/1yspl6F ) .
