Some Widgets
Of course, there are thousands of widgets on Google Play. Here are just a few that I've
found useful.
HD Widgets
HD Widgets ( http://bit.ly/1iRTZMn ) adds a set of gorgeous widgets of many sizes that can
display the time, date, weather, and control switches. The color, background, transparency,
and text are all customizable.
Android Pro Widgets
This app ( http://bit.ly/HLilwa ) adds widgets that can display bookmarks, calendars, your
Facebook feed, a direct Facebook posting bar, contacts, and Twitter feed. The paid Pro ver-
sion adds a combined Facebook and Twitter time line and many themes.
Beautiful Widgets
As the name implies, this set of widgets ( http://bit.ly/195lzAj ) brings a touch of beauty to
your Home screens and it's one of the most customizable widget sets out there. Widgets
from 1x1 to 5x5 are included for time, date, weather, control switches, and battery state.
Each widget can be customized with hundreds of downloadable themes, and you can select
the app that will run when you tap the widget. You can create a widget that is arranged just
the way you want and controls your favorite apps.
Favorites Tray
The center of the Favorites Tray always contains the App Drawer, but apps can be added
to either side for quick access. Just drag an app from the App Drawer to the Favorites Tray.
