5.1.4. Discussion and conclusion

• Not all 21 934 genes are relevant to this experiment; 13 102 could be

ignored.

• About one third (8832) of all the genes tested should be looked

into.

• Among the 8832 genes, those belonging to the No. 4 chromosome

should be investigated closely.
