is a healthy five blocks from the town center and lake, a small price to pay considering
the reasonable fee, cleanliness and above-average motel facilities. These include coffee

areas and a boat launch make this a busy summertime destination. Of the nearly 150
sites, there are some nice lakeside spots and 35 RV hookups. Reservations are necessary

The plushest place in town, Campbell's hogs the waterfront along Manson
Hwy with its 170 guest rooms, marina, two swimming pools, restaurant, pub and 1200ft
stretch of sandy beach. Modern rooms are spotless and have balconies, but the privilege
of staying here doesn't come cheap - especially in the summer, when rates triple.

This is the best location in town, aside grassy Lakeside Park,
which boasts Chelan's most idyllic municipal setting along with the town's best stretch
of sand-and-shingle beach. There's a lovely pool, top lake views and suitably well-fur-
nished rooms, though you may spend a lot of time dodging the plethora of passing con-
vention delegates.

blueberry muffins, this venerable and popular 'cafe' showcases everything from live mu-
sic (at weekends) and local art to a selection of its own jams and vinaigrettes. It also acts
as a popular tasting room for aspiring wine connoisseurs. There's alfresco seating out
front and wi-fi access inside.
