the best ways to experience the Riverwalk is with these 40-minute narrated cruises that
give you a good visual overview of the river and a light history lesson. You can buy your
tickets online, or get them on the waterfront at any of the stops. No reservations are neces-
sary and tours leave every 15 to 20 minutes.
It's a nice way to pass a little time, especially if you've been walking around all morn-
ing.

Alamo City Ghost Tours
( 210-336-7831; www.alamocityghosttours.com ; adult/5-17yr $16/11; tours 9pm) Two great options:
The Alamo Ghost Hunt, where guides bring along enough EMF meters and dowsing rods
for everyone; or the Haunted Pub Crawl, which is a fun, social tour just for grownups that
combines ghosts and beer.

Do it on a Segway. That means if you do see a ghost, it'll be easier to outrun it. This com-
pany also offers regular old nonhaunted tours of downtown and the King William District.
