Bike Trail Tirol
, Kitzbühel is mountain-
biking central. Whether you want to pedal gently through the valley or rattle downhill on
the Gaisberg Trail, the tourist office's

cycling map (€3) is an excellent refer-
ence, showing all routes in the area. Bikes are transported for free on cable cars including
Cable Car)
and
Fleckalmbahn
. These cable cars cost €16/19.20 one way/return for adults in
summer, with substantial reductions for children and youths. All are covered by ski
passes in winter
Along with these activities, Kitzbühel gets pulses racing in summer with scenic flights,
skydiving, ballooning, golf, water sports and even bungee jumping.

A ski school in winter, in sum-
mer this is a one-stop shop for adventure sports, including rafting (€65), canyoning (€60
to €70) and paragliding (€110). Mountain and electric bikes (e-bikes) are available for
hire for €25 and €35 per day.

For a cool summer swim, venture 3km northwest of the centre to
Kitzbühel's natural swimming hole, the tree-flanked Schwarzsee. This lakeside lido has
open-air pools and pedalo rental.
