vertiginous sense of motion. If you don't want to give people motion sickness, go easy on the
Amount setting. A setting of 5 was used here, but unless you're looking for a psychedelic '60s ef-
fect, 1 or 2 is usually plenty.
TIP
Before using the Radial Blur filter, check out the Zoom Burst Effect in Guided
Edit→Photo Effects. It may be just what you want.
The Radial Blur dialog box looks complicated, but it's really not. (Call it up by going to Fil-
ter→Blur→Radial Blur.) Unfortunately, Elements doesn't give you a preview with this filter
because applying it requires so much processing power. But the dialog box gives you a
