Main Street, Yung Shue Wan
Spend a couple of hours exploring the shops in Yung Shue Wan (Banyan Bay).
There's a small Tin Hau temple (c late 19th century) at the street's southern end.
Stop for 'shepherdess' pie at ecoconscious Bookworm Cafe (bookwormcafe.com.hk; 79
) , which doubles
Main St, Yung Shue Wan;
10am-9pm Mon-Fri, 9am-10pm Sat, 9am-9pm Sun;
as a secondhand bookshop.
Hung Shing Yeh Beach
All fuelled up, begin the hour-long (4km) Family Trail that runs between Yung Shue
Wan and Sok Kwu Wan. Lamma's most popular beach, Hung Shing Yeh, is located
midway along the trail, and on weekdays it's almost deserted. There are changing
rooms, but you may want to pack your own picnic.
