In-Depth Information
To the right of the Bell Tower, you'll see the entrance to the Sloboda movie theater (the
rainy-day location for cultural events in the summer), and next to that, Onofrio's Little
Fountain (Mala Onofrijea Fontana), the little brother of the one at the other end of the
Stradun. The big building beyond the fountain is the City Hall (Vije ć nica)—the only 19th-
century building inside the Old Town. The terrace at the near end of City Hall is occupied
bythe Gradska Kavana, or“TownCafé.” Thishangout—historically Dubrovnik'sfavorite
spot for gossiping and people-watching—has pricey drinks and seating all the way through

then the cathedral (for more on each, see “Sights in Dubrovnik”).
Behind Orlando is St. Blaise's Church (Crkva Sv. Vlaha), dedicated to the patron saint
of Dubrovnik. You'll see statues and paintings of St. Blaise all over town, always holding a
