In this result, we can see high anteroposterior correlations between ”common
cold” and the Great East Japan Earthquake. It may just happen that way. How-
ever, we can consider that common cold increased as a result of physical strength's
weakening from refuge from an earthquake, or the influence of radioactivity. In this
investigation [35], after 93% of Japanese people answer they search their condition
on the Internet mostly, after that they go to a hospital. It will be clear that common
cold becomes epidemic after the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake.
By this experimental result, our method discovers anteroposterior correlations
easily. This discovery gives us new perceptions.
5.3
Discussion
The keyword which a user wants to investigate is inputted into a search engine. A
query log of the search engine is massive of user's needs. Even if a query log calls
it the map of the real world, it is not an overstatement.
Our method realizes a system which provides relationships between each actual
thing, event, and phenomenon from a query log. We consider that it is very difficult
to analyze the causal relationship by a system. Therefore, we propose a new con-
cept of the relationship ”anteroposterior correlation.” This relation is derived from
relatively comparing things, events and phenomena represented in conditional prob-
ability.
By calculating the strength of relationship relative, various relations can be ex-
tracted from a query log. In this experiment, it shows having the influence of ra-
dioactivity rather than the influence of earthquake directly.
In this result, we can see high anteroposterior correlations between ”common
cold” and the Great East Japan Earthquake. It may be said that someone is unsci-
entific. However, we can regard a query log as a record of user's action or thinking.
A possibility that the patients of common cold are actually increasing in number is
high.
In this paper, we apply our method to a query log. Our method can not be applied
to a query log, but also SNS like Twitter, Facebook's time line, etc. In addition, we
apply our method to sensor data when we combine our method and event detection
technologies such as SVM based technologies. Our method could be used as an
optimization tool in the real world. This is a primitive of Big data analytics. By our
method, the real world's roles and the cyber world's roles will become clearer.
6Con lu ion
We proposed a new concept, anteroposterior correlation. The anteroposterior corre-
lation means the correlation based on the time anteroposterior relation. In this paper,
we represented a new discover method of anteroposterior correlation between each
heterogeneous thing, events and phenomena. We discover a correlation in consider-
ation of the continuity of time. By our method, we effectively discover relationship
between heterogeneous things, events and phenomena. The one of the features of our
