Managing Plug-ins (Add-ons)
A plug-in , also called an add-on, is a piece of software that can be added
to a web browser to give it additional functionality, like the capability
to view movies or Flash content. Two of the most common plug-ins are
Adobe Shockwave Flash Object and Java.

In most cases, you do not have to search for or manually install plug-ins.
If one is needed, your browser will display a message offering to find and
install it for you, or will direct you to a web page where you can down-
load and install it.
Step by Step
Managing Installed Add-ons
To view and manage currently installed add-ons, follow these steps:
Click the Tools button in the upper-right corner of the browser window. A menu appears.
Choose Manage Add-ons. The Managed Add-ons window appears, displaying currently installed add-ons, organized
by type.
