By far the most luxurious hotel in town, the sprawling Las Dunas resort is
equipped with a swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts, minigolf course, business center,
restaurants and bars. Various excursions are offered (for an additional fee), including cyc-
ling, horseback riding, sandboarding and winery tours. Service can be haphazard,
however. The resort is located off Carr Panamericana Sur Km 300.

This dazzlingly white, three-story central hotel is hidden down a long dark
passage behind reception that delivers more than it initially promises. Remarkably small
rooms have unusual wood paneling, TVs and phones. The hotel has a sauna and two
swimming pools.

Worthwhile only if you bag one
of the corner suites (there are four of 'em) which are radically superior to the rest of the
rooms with cinema-sized flat-screens, antique furniture, king-sized beds, power showers

Sitting directly over the Soyuz bus
terminal, this handy option for late arrivals or early departures has carpeted rooms with
air-con and cable TV, but is only for heavy sleepers on account of the rumpus below.
