The markets at Dimeka (Saturday), Key Afar and Turmi (Monday) are among the biggest and best, but also full of
tourists. Market days do change, so it's wise to inquire before making your schedule.
Sleeping & Eating
During the high season, reservations are wise.

By far the best place to stay in the valley, Buska has nice green tukuls and rooms amid
plenty of trees and flowers. The campsite has 'islands' with concrete pads and thatched
roofs and there are good facilities. The restaurant (mains Birr44 to Birr86) stretches bey-
ond the ordinary with dishes like Hungarian goulash and a big wine list. Staff pack a vari-
ety of lunch boxes, too. Massage is available. It's east of town, 1km off the Weyto road.
