5. Choose the
Create a new Layer
button in the
Layers
panel; a new layer with the name
Layer 2
is created in the panel. Next, repeat steps 3 and 4 to fill the remaining two strips
with the black color, refer to Figure 9-16. Similarly, fill the remaining white areas with
the black color.

Next, you will color the tip of the pencil.
6. Create a new layer and invoke
Brush Tool
in the Tool Box. Next, paint colors in the tip
area of pencil using dark gray color, as shown in Figure 9-17.
7. Choose
File > Save As
from the main menu; the
Save As
dialog box is displayed. In
this dialog box, enter
texturePencilColor
in the
File Name
text box and make sure that
Photoshop (*.PSD;*.PDD)
is selected in the
Format
drop-down list. Next, browse to
\Documents\c4dr16\c09
and choose the
Save
button; the file is saved at the specified
location.
Next, you will switch back to CINEMA 4D and apply the texture created in Photoshop to
Pencil
