(campsite per person MK1500; ) Perfectly situated by the giant boulders that
bookend the golden stretch of beach, this campsite is owned by the Sunbird Hotel Group
and benefits from its premier-level service.
There are loads of pitches under shade, hot showers, individual power points and
round-the-clock security; a beach bar that leaps from a Martini ad; a volleyball court; and
a spotless ablution block. In a word - perfect!

) This faded banana-and-pastel-green beachfront digs has a sandy patio with scattered
loungers, a little bar and Caribbean vibe. Fastidiously clean rooms have vividly coloured
linen, African art on the walls and are tantalisingly close to the lull of the surf.
There's also an airy dorm and dining room decked out in plenty of wood and bright loc-
al fabrics. The food is excellent.

side these peeling, white motel-style digs are unprepossessing, but step within and they
become more tempting, especially the ones facing the lake. Rooms have fridges, loads of
room, bathrooms, TV and fans. You'll see plenty of corporate jolly types here so it's not
exactly 'backpacker' writ large.
