We've had good reports about this place, on the beach about
25km north of Vilankulo along a bush track. Accommodation is in stilted rooms and
dorms sharing clean ablutions, and there's a restaurant (where you'll have to eat, as there's
nothing else around), gardens and evening bonfires. It's a good bet if you're looking for a
quiet spot to relax away from Vilankulo's bustle and seeking a chance to get acquainted
with local life. It's also a good base for excursions to Bazaruto Island as sailing times are
shorter than from Vilankulo. Bush walks are possible and kite surfing is planned. Trans-
fers to/from Vilankulo are free for stays of three or more nights (otherwise Mtc200 per
person one-way).
