place near the port has pizzas and continental dishes. Portions are large and there's an eat-
ing area overlooking the water. Everything is halal (no alcohol) and there's a takeaway

Just back from the beach, Samara features Portuguese-style cuisine and is known for its
prawns and other seafood, as well as for long meal waits. Management also rents out
some rooms (single/double Mtc2880/3200) in stone-and-thatched chalets in the gardens
behind the restaurant. Follow the main road to where the tarmac ends, take the small,
signposted right-hand fork and continue down about 200m further.
