If you're on a budget, this is one of the better spots in Sem-
porna. The bright white rooms are military clean, without a speck of dust, and it's a
stone's throw from most of the dive centres.

The jauntily
dubbed Seafest is six storeys of bay-view, business-class comfort at the far end of the
'Semporna Seafront' neighbourhood. It's affiliated with Seafest fishery, so check the res-
taurant's catch of the day. Don't be shy about asking for discounts, and note suites aren't
really worth the extra ringgit.

The owners of Dragon figured 'Tourists want
stilt houses built over the water and tiki tropical decor' and ran with that theme for several
miles. It's a bit tacky, but in an endearing way, and the more upmarket rooms are actually
attractive, with dark flooring and island chic decor. The water the Inn stands over is green
slop, but the staff is so friendly and eager to please, we forgive this minor trespass.

A sociable, clean and basic spot offering 50% discounts for divers
who book through Scuba Junkie. There's an adjacent bar (open from 4pm till the last
guest passes out) that gets kicking with the dive instructor set come night.
