Racine's

with the longest parade in Wisconsin. (If you're very lucky, it'll be a year when 19th-cen-
tury mock clipper ships are prowling about.)
The granddaddy of all events is mid-July's

largest freshwater fishing festival in the world.
Charter Fishing
Racine has one of the most productive charter operations on Lake Michigan; it also has the
largest marina on the Great Lakes. Six different species of salmon and trout cohabit near
three reefs lying outside the harbor. In July 2010, a man caught a Wisconsin-record—and
likely world-record—41.5-pound brown trout off Wind Point.
