By Car
Many sorely needed freeway upgrades are ongoing, so be patient.
Every major rental-car agency is represented at Mitchell International Airport and many
have a half-dozen or so representatives throughout the city. There is a 3 percent tax on car
rentals.
By Taxi
Taxis are all metered and have a usual drop fare of around $3 for the first mile and about
$1.50 for each additional. American United Taxicab (414/220-5010) is the state's largest
operation and has GPS-aided guidance.
