Evinos MEDITERRANEAN $
(mains €6-9.50; lunch & dinner, closed lunch summer) A twist of gourmet hits Nafpaktos'
eateries at this pleasant spot, the name of which translates as 'good wine'. Don't expect
any plate smashing here - it's not traditional. There's international bites - pastas and
risotti - plus traditional dishes with a twist, such as haloumi torta. A lovely setting,
though not by the sea.

Getting There & Away

Nafpaktos has two bus stations. The KTEL Nafpaktos station ( 26340 27224; cnr
Manassi & Botsari) is behind the large Church of Agios Dimitrios. The KTEL Fokida sta-
tion ( 26340 27241; cnr Kefalourisou & Asklipiou) is 400m further east.
