Getting There & Away
Incredibly, at the time of research, ferries were no longer departing from Patra for Corfu;
ferries to Corfu were departing from Igounemitsa only. Even so, ferry companies were
incorrectly promoting them on their websites. For all destinations, ring ahead to check
the ever-changing schedules before you make your way to Patra.
The bus and train stations are on Iroön Polytehniou and Othonos Amalias.
BOAT
Opened in 2011 and located several kilometres south of town, the 'new' port is the de-
parture point for ferries.
Note: Ferry offices of all the following companies are located at the ports, but boat
agencies (numbers listed here) are also along Iroön Polytehniou and Othonos Amalia.
Ferry schedules and prices change seasonally.
