Reordering missing articles.
The workers and forklifts are (more or less) identical:
Maximum payload (in kg).
Speed (in m/s).
Required time for picking up respectively putting down an article
(in seconds).
Possible states: available, in use, out of order.
Use case 1: Incoming order, everything available This use case is
characterized by the fact that all resources necessary for executing an
incoming order are available:
All articles required for fulfilling an incoming order are available at
the warehouse.
All required workers and forklifts are available.
An outgoing platform is available.
From the warehouse managers point of view, the workflow is the
following:
1. Warehouse manager receives an order.
2. As all ordered articles are available, the status of all ordered articles
is changed from available to reserved .
3. An available outgoing platform is selected and the status of this
platform is changed from unassigned to assigned .
4. Depending on the ordered articles the warehouse manager com-
mands workers and forklifts to transport the articles from their
storage locations to the selected outgoing platform.
5. The workers and forklifts transport the articles to the platform.
