(mains 15-25 lei; 10am-11pm) This informal grill-and-picnic-tables beachfront place
draws big crowds, particularly campers from the nearby wild campsites. The fresh fish is
grilled on the spot. To find it, follow the main street, Str Ion Creangă, to the beach and
turn left. It's situated on the northern edge of Vama Veche, beyond the Club d'Or camping
( Click here ) area.
Terasa Lyana $$
( 0744 671 213; mains 15-25 lei; 9am-midnight; ) Arguably the most upscale of
Vama Veche's dining options, which means the picnic tables are a little cleaner than usual
and the dining area is buffered from the beach by a stone wall. Open for breakfast for a
quick omelette before the beach. It's near Str Ion Creangă.

(Plaja Vama Veche; 9am-2am) This is the most likeable of several beachside drinking
shacks with their signature thatched roofs and picnic tables. To find it, walk down the
main drag, Str Ion Creangă, to the beach and turn left.
BEACH BAR
Molotov
(molotov_bar@yahoo.com; Str Falezei, Plaja Vama Veche; 10am-3am) This scruffily
charming cocktail bar is one of the best places in town to sip your drink while you listen
to the roar of the surf. It's located on the beach on the southern end of Vama Veche.
