Clăbucet Zona de Agrement manages the eight-run mountain with two
chairlifts and several drag lifts. Single-ride tickets for adult/child cost 18/10 lei. An all-
day pass costs 118/80 lei. You can hire skis and snowboards near the base of the moun-
tain.
Fulg de Nea

A good hub for winter and summer
activity, Fulg de Nea, close to the ski lift, is Predeal's central ski school, and also offers
ice skating, sleigh riding and hiking, plus biking and tennis in summer. Equipment rental
is available for all diversions. It also runs a villa.

as 75 lei. The road to the lift is i ncreasingly crowded with new three- and four-star places.
Most hotels have a restaurant of sorts, and there are plenty of fast-food options along Str
Mihai Săulescu. Some plush hotels are in the Trei Brazi district, a 20-minute walk northw-
est.

This pleasant 40-room,
no-frills accommodation has grotto-effect walls, and an inviting restaurant strung with ski-
ing paraphernalia, that serves up decent steak and soup (mains 15 lei). The basic rooms
are fine for flopping after the slopes. Right next to the button lift.

With its faux log-cabin exterior and excellent self-catering area, this 18-room guesthouse
is a winner. Fresh white walls, even fresher linen and modern en suites. About 60m up a
zigzag street from the train station (behind the white church).
