How to do it…
To start capturing electronic signatures, we first need to create an
Electronic Signature
custom field:
1. Navigate to
Administration
|
Issues
|
Custom Fields
.
2. Click on the
Add Custom Field
button and select the
Advanced
tab.
3. Choose the
Electronic Signature
custom field type and click on
Next
.
4. Name the custom field
E-Signatures
and click on
Next
, as shown in the fol-
lowing screenshot.
5. Select a screen to place the custom field onto. For example, if you want to capture
signatures when users resolve an issue, you will need to select the screen used for
the
Resolve Issue
transition.
6. Click on the
Update
button.
