lodging lists and free maps of the island.

Government Medical Clinic ( 242-336-2088) Based at the big pink and white Govern-
ment Administration Building in George Town.
Pet's Place (Queen's Hwy; 7am-11pm Mon-Sat, to 10pm Sun; ) There's also access
from a terminal and free wi-fihere.

GETTING THERE & AROUND
To/From the Airport
Taxis await the arrival of flights and charge approximately $30 to George Town; best to
agree a price before you get in. There are several car rental agencies based at the airport.
Boat
To explore around the cays and Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park ( Click here ), you will
need a boat of some kind. Some lodgings provide boats for hire, but the rates offered by
Minns Water Sports ( 242-336-3483; www.mwsboats.com ; George Town) are espe-
cially good. It rents out boats from $45/90 per half-/full day, but the rates are reduced for
bookings over three days. The boats vary in size from 15ft to 22ft, and a $200 cash deposit
is required.
Ferry There are two separate ferries to different parts of Stocking Island departing from
George Town. The main ferry is the water taxi from government wharf run by Elvis Fer-
