In-Depth Information
Bahamian and American dishes are served up piping hot. For our money, the fried chicken
is some of the best in the islands, served with a fat square of scrumptiously gooey baked
macaroni 'n' cheese.
Angler's FUSION $$$
( 242-367-2158; www.abacobeachresort.com ; Abaco Beach Resort at Boat Harbour,
Bay St; mains $16-34; breakfast, lunch & dinner Mon-Sat) At the Abaco Beach Resort,
this waterfront restaurant is a favorite with yachties and wealthy expats. The Asian- and
Caribbean-inflected menu runs from dumplings (pot stickers) to sesame-encrusted tuna
steak with pickled ginger, as well as some local standbys like conch fritters. Steaks are also
big. Orchids, white tablecloths and live music add a swank touch. Lunch is much more cas-
ual, with pizzas, salads and sandwiches.

maid Reef, order a salad or sandwich on the Jib's harborside deck and tell fish tales as the
yacht's pull in. On Saturday nights, everyone's here for steaks, live music and dancing.
