biscus and casuarina palms set against a fat wedge of private beach. The 180-slip marina
makes this a yachtie favorite. In high season, the swim-up pool bar is the place to be.
Rooms, while beachy and pleasant, don't quite warrant the price tag (expect to spend an
additional $100 or more per night on taxes and fees). The restaurant, Angler's, is a peren-

into conch salad. The salad comes 'skin on' or 'skin off' - locals prefer it on. Sides vary,
depending on what ingredients are available. No seating, but there are some benches on the
shore nearby.
Snappa's SEAFOOD, PUB $$
( www.snappasbar.com ; Bay St; mains $11-30; 11am-late) We love Snappa's for its awe-
some grilled seafood - which can be darn hard to find on the Out Islands. The thick, grilled
mahi mahi sandwich is superb and with a splash of Conchy Joe's Pepper Sauce you might
just nibble into heaven. Live music is the evening draw at this marina-side mecca Wednes-
day through Saturday, with the biggest party crowds descending on Friday.
Jamie's Place BAHAMIAN, AMERICAN $$
