In the fuel ethanol symbiotic, the symbiotic unit has established an ecological link and formed
eco-industrial chains through the logistics (raw materials, wheat, flour, starch, alcohol lees,
etc.) exchange. It can be seen that the cornfield is taken as the beginning to form several

biodegradable plastic factory, etc. Each link takes the
environmental comprehensive management system as an end, and each eco-industrial chain inter-
venes and cross-couples through material, energy, information flow and sharing, to make the
whole body a symbiotic eco-industrial network (Li, 2005).

9.4 QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF THIS CASE STUDY
9.4.1 Changes in four major indicator systems
Tianguan Group's assets output indicators primarily show an upward trend, among which the land
output rate increased from 16.8 millionYuan/ha in 2006 to 22.8 millionYuan/ha in 2009. The rate
of increase is 35.7%. The energy output rate increased from 4.7 million Yuan/thousand tonnes
standard coal in 2006 to 5.4 millionYuan /thousand tonnes in 2009. The rate of increase is 14.4%.
The water output rate changed from 0.25 million Yuan/thousand tonnes in 2006 to 0.22 million
Yuan/thousand tonnes in 2009, and to some extent, there has been a downward trend.
