used here were 10 mAV 21 . A similar setup was used for the single-electrode measure-
ments, but with a bi-potentiostat and current followers that had the ability to switch
between measurement resistances for the disk and ring responses and therefore the
sensitivity (1, 10, 100, and 1000 mAV 21 ). An adapted single-electrode version of
the software was used.
The electrochemical experiments with the TiO x /Au arrays were carried out in
a new three-compartment glass cell with a water jacket (Fig. 16.5) and those with
