This museum is situated near the entrance of the University at Ambondrona in Mahajanga.
It has displays showing the history of the region, as well as an exhibition of palaeontology
andethnology.TherearealsophotosanddescriptionsofsomeofMahajanga'stouristsights
such as the Cirque Rouge and Grottes d'Anjohibe. Signs are in French but some are also in
English.
