'Leather' refers to floor and wall coverings rather than
anything kinky. This tiny, modish pad has mixologists serving up fancy drinks and DJs
spinning dance tunes from around 9pm. How half of Chennai fits into it on Friday and
Saturday nights is a mystery.

A long-run-
ning favourite with 30- and 40-somethings, including a fair sprinkling of expats, this Irish
pub and nightclub has three levels of dancing and music from hip hop to Bollywood. Until
10pm it's a pub, then it becomes a club, alive to 2am or 3am on Saturday nights. No unac-
companied men, or 'stags' as they call them.

is often packed with a mixed bag of 20s-to-40s professionals and some expats. Wednesday
is Ladies' Night (free drinks for women), Friday Retro Night ('70s/'80s) and Saturday
Club Night.
