are in the lush area in northern Candolim between the road and the beach; wander through
the tiny trails off laneways and you're sure to find something.
Beach Nest
( 2489866, 9822381853; Monteiro's Rd, Escrivai Vaddo; d ?900-1200) There are no sea views here but
this is a spotless and friendly little place that's just a quick jungle-footpath walk to the
beach. The more expensive upstairs rooms have balcony, kitchenettes and fridges, the
owners are helpful, and the atmosphere is serene and homey.

rooms in the sea-facing building at family-run D'Mello's are divine, with only three walls:
the fourth is your balcony, with ocean views. Even the back rooms are stylish, with perky
colours and chic cotton bedspreads. All rooms are fastidiously clean and have mosquito

bunch of others nearby.
